Glee star Mark Salling was arrested on Tuesday on a felony possession charge of child pornography, the LAPD confirmed to ET. Now, some of Salling’s peers are speaking out on the allegations the actor is facing, including the director of his latest project, Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets.

"Today I was made aware of the serious allegations against Salling as a result of numerous media outlets hounding me as to whether he would remain in Gods & Secrets," Shankar said in a statement to ET. “I won't feed our growing pitchfork culture. I'm going to wait for all the facts to arrive and if in fact these allegations are true, I will immediately take action which includes removing his scenes from the project."

The 33-year-old actor was booked at the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, with bail set at $20,000. Salling was later released after posting bail.

LAPD confirmed that they obtained a search warrant and, in conjunction with Homeland Security, arrived around 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning at Salling's home in the Shadow Hills area of Los Angeles. After receiving a tip from a "concerned person," police say they found images of child pornography.

This isn't the first time Salling has had legal troubles. In January 2013, his ex-girlfriend, Roxanne Gorzela, alleged in a lawsuit that sexual battery, assault and battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress occurred while the two were dating.

The two later settled the case in March 2015, and Salling was ordered by a judge to pay $2.7 million to Gorzela, per the terms of the settlement.
