She reveals why the pair are often confused as siblings.
Ellie Goulding is twinning with someone close to her, and it makes her feel “quite weird.”
The singer opened up about her relationship with McBusted bassist and boyfriend Dougie Poynter to Glamour magazine, admitting their similar style leaves many to believe that they are siblings.

"People always say we look like brother and sister," Goulding, 29, explains. "Even our family members say it. It's quite weird."
"We dress kind of similar," she continues. “Dougie’s always like, ‘We can’t both wear this shirt!’ But I like it.”
Despite the fact that they look absolutely adorable together, Goulding admits the pair, who has been linked together since 2014, definitely have relationship highs and lows.
“Relationships have their ups and downs. And sometimes, yeah, I want to be left alone,” she tells the mag. "Dougie is respectful of that.”
Goulding says that her rocker beau’s understanding of the music industry has definitely helped their relationship flourish.

"[Dougie] understands when I've had a tough rehearsal or tough couple of days traveling. I don't like to rely on him to get me through everything, though," she shares. "I'm an independent person -- I do like to take care of things myself. It's important to figure out ways of keeping your own Zen."
