Tom Brady's diet just gets more insane the more we find out about it.
The latest revelation? The Patriots quarterback has never drunk coffee in his life. Not a sip. Not an iced coffee. Not a latte. Nothing. "For one reason or another, I never any coffee or anything like that. I never tried it," he casually mentioned on WEEI's The Dennis & Callahan Morning Show.
For comparison's sake, here is his teammate, Rob Gronkowski, shilling Dunkin Donuts coffee, which we are sure, as their spokesperson, he has at least tried:
This SHOCKING bit of information comes after Brady and Gisele Bündchen's personal chef, Allan Campbell, laid out the couple's strict dietary restrictions. Campbell says the family eats primarily organic vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats -- but no white sugar, flour, or gluten.
"I've always been pretty disciplined," Brady told Dennis & Callahan about it. "When I was in the second or third grade, I was going to the gym with my dad in the morning and my sisters. They were all athletes. I remember I'd have to try to do 25 push-ups, 25 sit-ups, and 100 jump ropes every day."
How does the NFL superstar indulge on the rare cheat day? "Probably burgers or ice cream," he said. And that's the first thing he’s said in this interview we can actually relate to.
