Angie had originally decided to remain on Celebrity Big Brother after hearing of the 69-year-old rock legend's death on Jan. 10. "The decision to remain in the house is entirely her choice, and she has been given the option to leave at any time if she changes her mind," the Celebrity Big Brother website posted at the time. "Appropriate support will be available to Angie at any time if needed."

Angie was married to David from 1970–1980, and they have a son together, 44-year-old film director Duncan Jones. She met David in 1969 when she was 19, and married him on March 19, 1970 at Bromley Register Office in Beckenham Lane, London. She appeared as herself in the musician's 1973 film Ziggy Stardust, and it's said that she is the inspiration behind the late singer's hit songs "The Prettiest Star," "Golden Years" and "Cracked Actor."
