Justin Bieber quietly shared a new track that is not featured on his Purpose album.
The R&B song, "I'll Be There," showcases Bieber's rap skills and has him crooning about a girl he's always leaving behind. "I'll be there for you, even though I'm gone. Holding you close babe, close to my heart," the 21-year-old pop star sings.
Bieber's album Purpose debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart last year, beating out One Direction’s Made In The A.M. The wildly successful album features hit singles "What Do You Mean?," and "Sorry."
The album proved to be an emotional project for Bieber, who spoke to ET about why he cried at the MTV Video Music Awards in August. "Good cries, bad cries, just all around being emotional," he said. "I think it just shows how much I care. You know, I care about this project so much and I've put my heart and soul into it, spent the last three or four years making it. So it's been exciting, it's been an amazing roller coaster ride. Sometimes good days, sometimes bad days, but overall it's been pretty awesome."
