'Laguna Beach' Star Alex Murrel Is Pregnant
Blue means boy for Laguna Beach alum Alex Murrel and her husband, Kyle Mark Johnson.
The couple announced they are expecting a son in a happy Instagram video on Jan. 17, which shows Murrel slicing into a gender reveal cake.

"It's a ..... BOY ???????? Can't wait to meet our lil guy ?@kylemarkjohnson! Thanks to my seeeeester for making this so much fun for us @giggles_n_glitter," the former MTV star captioned the moment.
Murrel, who was known as Kristin Cavallari's friend 'Alex M.' on Laguna Beach, married Johnson in October 2014. This is their first child.
Johnson memorialized the moment on his own Instagram feed, posting a snap of himself with Murrel and the cake.
"It's a boy!! One of the best days of my life! See you soon #littlebuddy @alexmurrel," he wrote.
Murrel and Johnson initially announced the pregnancy on Instagram in early January, telling family and friends they would be expecting their first child in July.
More celebrations were in order this week, as Murrel celebrated her 29th birthday, as well as her pregnancy, on Friday.
"Golden birthday with a baby boy in my belly and a husband I love ? Couldn't ask for anything more! Love you @kylemarkjohnson #29feelinfine," she captioned an Instagram selfie.
