for American Horror Story: Hotel
, Lady Gaga
-- returning to her pop star roots -- is ready to take on one of the world's greatest stages.
Mother Monster will sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50 on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the NFL revealed on Tuesday. She'll be joined by Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin, who will perform the American Sign Language version of the song.

The 29-year-old pop star revealed earlier this month that she has full intentions of releasing a new album
at some point this year.
