A sad update in Angela Raiola's battle with cancer.

The family of theMob Wivesstar, known by fans as Big Ang, says she is in the hospital as attempts to treat her stage 4 brain and lung cancer have not worked. A new GoFundMe page, apparently created by Raiola's sister, Janine Detore, is seeking donations to help relieve the 55-year-old reality star's pain.

"On January 26th the doctor reviewed her CT scan and informed us that the treatment was not working," the GoFundMe page reads. "Well here we are at the emergency room waiting to see why her breathing is labored and the amount of pain she is having is by far more than she could handle. So I suggested cannabis oil as an alternative. This is why I am putting up this go fund me to try to help my sister to get this oil to help her at least be pain free."

In two days, the page received nearly $40,000 in donations, well over their goal of $25,000.

In January, Raiola attended the Mob Wives season six viewing party in Staten Island, New York.
