The singer is taking her former fiance to court, claiming he has made 'multiple false and defamatory statements' about her.

Some exes stay friendly. Others, well...

Ciara is suing her former fiancé, Future, for $15 million, alleging that the rapper has defamed, slandered, and libeled her with "multiple false and defamatory statements," including some involving their 1-year-old son, Future Zahir.

In court documents obtained by ET, the 30-year-old singer claims Future's alleged comments were meant to "destroy" her reputation as a good mother and "impair" her professional career. Ciara also says that she has suffered "public hatred, ridicule, and scorn" because of them.

Last year, Future slammed Ciara during an interview on The Breakfast Club radio show over paparazzi photos of Ciara’s new boyfriend, NFL player Russell Wilson, pushing his son in a stroller, saying, "I'm not for the publicity stunts. Leave my son out of the publicity stunts."

Just last month, the 32-year-old rapper vented about CiCi on Twitter, tweeting and later deleting, "This b*tch got control problems. I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture…the f**kery for 15k a month."

Now, Ciara is the one claiming that Future was pulling a publicity stunt -- alleging in the court docs that the comments were made "to increase interest and publicity" around Future’s just-released album. She also says that his reference to paying $15,000 per month in child support is "false."

The "Goodies" singer is asking for $15 million to "deter" Future from engaging in "such abhorrent conduct" in the future. Ciara also wants to legally force him to stop tweeting anything about their co-parenting, child custody and visitation, or child support.

Ciara has spoken out in the past about Future's comments towards Wilson, calling it "a bit of a double standard."

"When we were together, I took care of his kids as well at a very young time in our relationship," she said of her ex, who has four other children. "That's been a big conversation, like, 'What's the difference here?' I think that even for the men that are outspoken -- wouldn't you want someone to love on your child? Or love on the child you're speaking about?"

In happier news, ET asked Ciara if she and Wilson will eventually get engaged. Find out what the singer had to say in the video below.
