Duncan Jones is going to be a dad!

David Bowie’s son shared the happy news on Twitter with a bittersweet twist, revealing how he told his late father he and wife Rodene Ronquillo were expecting.

“1 month since dad died today,” Jones, 44, shared on Wednesday, alongside a hand-drawn picture of a baby in utero with a speech bubble that read, “I’m waiting.”

“Made this card for him at Christmas,” he explained. “Due in June. Circle of life. Love you, granddad.”

The child would have been Bowie’s first grandchild. The rock legend, who died on Jan. 10 after an 18-month battle with cancer, is also father to Alexandria “Lexi” Zahra Jones, 15, his daughter with wife Iman.

Bowie’s will was filed in New York City on Jan. 29, which revealed that the legendary performer left roughly half his $100 million fortune to Iman, dividing the rest between Jones and his sister, an assistant, and a former nanny. See more about the British rocker’s estate in the video below.
