This marks Irina Shayk's 10th time posing for the issue, and it might have been the most dangerous.

The 30-year-old model shot her photo spread in Tahiti, where she found herself surrounded by underwater predators.

"There's tons of sting rays and fish and blacktip sharks," Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue editor M.J. Day told ET.

"It was kind of dangerous because a shark could literally bite my booty and the swimsuit off," Shayk added.

This issue features rookies like Barbara Palvin, 22, Bo Krsmanovic, 23, and Ashley Graham, 28, but despite the new blood, Shayk says she's not being replaced anytime soon.
