The reality star's beau has been charged with 10 felony counts in a domestic violence case.
Less than three months after ET exclusively confirmed Jessica Parido was in a “happy” relationship with new man, Karlen “Chris” Shubaralyan, the Shahs of Sunset star’s beau has been charged with 10 felony counts in a domestic violence case.
Shubaralyan, 37, faces one count each of forcible rape, stalking and first-degree burglary, two counts each of injuring a spouse and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime and three counts of criminal threats, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday.
The charges stem from Shubaralyan allegedly “victimizing” his ex-wife starting in 2014, with the most recent alleged incident taking place on February 8th of this year, prosecutors said. The felony complaint alleges Shubaralyan inflicted “great bodily injury” and that his ex-wife had a restraining order against him at the time of the incidents.
Shubaralyan was out on bail for an unrelated case on charges of nine felony counts including grand theft and passing non-sufficient funds checks exceeding $950 when he was arrested on Thursday for the domestic violence charges.

If convicted, Shubaralyan faces a possible maximum sentence of 25 years and 8 months in state prison.
Parido was married to fellow Shahs of Sunset star Michael Shouhed for eight months before divorcing in November 2015, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Parido had alleged that Shouhead had cheated on her while they were together. Shouhead's rep confirmed to ET that he "made a terrible mistake and cheated on Jessica," noting it took place "two years ago, before they were married."
A week after filing for divorce, Parido spoke exclusively to ET about her new relationship with Shubaralyan.

"It may seem that I moved on quickly, but I've been separated with Mike for over three-and-a-half months," the reality star said. "I'm ready to start a new life and be happy. Karlen makes me extremely happy."
Parido has not responded to requests for comment at this time.
On Thursday, she took to Instagram to share a positive quote, “Smile. It intimidates those who wish to destroy you."
