Gwen Stefani live-tweeted a travel adventure on Friday, as she scrambled to make boyfriend Blake Shelton’s concert in Kansas City, Missouri.
The day started with a missed flight, which the singer captioned in video, adding the hashtag “#whyamialwayslate!?”
“There it goes, there goes the plane we missed,” Stefani lamented as she watched her flight pull away from the gate. “It’s sitting there, they’re not letting us on, and we’re screwed. We’re not coming to see you tonight. Sorry.”

Thankfully, Stefani and her travel buddy, sister-in-law Jenny Stefani, were able to catch another flight, with a layover in Phoenix that the singer documented in a series of photos.
She even snapped a selfie with a tabloid that featured her and Shelton on the cover at the “#airportnews.”

When they finally arrived at their destination, Stefani had just one more worry.
“We made it,” she tweeted. “#pleaseletmybagbehere!”

It was, and the singer got to the Sprint Center just in time to use her all-access pass, snapping one final selfie from inside the show.
A fan even snapped a pic of Stefani at the show to prove it, saying her snap of the singer “almost got me kicked out,” but maybe it was worth it, as Stefani retweeted her.
