When it comes to Aaron’s party -- it’s all about GOP candidate Donald Trump
The pop artist, 28, took to Twitter on Saturday to voice his support for the real estate mogul turned presidential hopeful.
"Does America want to have a president who FOLLOWS or someone who leads?" Carter tweeted in response to one of Trump’s earlier tweets. "I vote for @realdonaldtrump."
Fans were quick to show their discontent with Carter’s endorsement. But the singer defended his stance.
"Good thing I live in America and I have the right to my own opinion such as a lot of my NON supporters have for me at times," he wrote, adding, "That’s ok. Losing fans gaining fans all good so what happens when Donald becomes president relax people."
While Carter has totally got Trump’s back, Charlie Sheen
is calling for Americans to “WAKE UP” and vote “#AnyoneButTrump.”
The actor, 50, showed his distaste for The Apprentice host by sharing a quote from president Abraham Lincoln. "Hey Trump, 'A farce or comedy is best played; a tragedy is best read at home' Abe Lincoln," Sheen posted on Twitter.
Sheen seems to have had a change of heart considering in August he said he wanted to be his running mate
