Derek Hough appears to be helping Kesha keep her mind off of her legal troubles.

The former Dancing With the Stars pro, 30, posted an adorable video of himself twirling the "Blah, Blah, Blah" singer around a parking lot.

"Lil ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Ke$ha" Hough captioned the video, which he shared on Instagram on Friday.

Fans immediately began to speculate that the video is a hint the pair will both make an appearance on the upcoming season of DWTS, with such comments as, "newest Dancing With the Stars couple??" and "Season 22 needs a Kesha" and "Will this be a surprise addition to season 22?"

While nothing is impossible, it's most certainly just wishful thinking seeing how Hough has already confirmed that he will not be appearing in the show's next go-around and will instead be starring in the Broadway production of Singin' in the Rain.

Of course, a little dancing might be good for Kesha, who is in the midst of a legal battle with music producer Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald), whom she claims raped and drugged her over a decade ago. Dr. Luke has denied all wrongdoing.

Earlier this month, the 29-year-old "We R Who We R" artist got emotional while accepting the Visibility Award at the 21st Annual Human Rights Campaign Nashville Equality Dinner in Nashville, Tennessee.

"I love writing songs and I love making music, but this is like the most rewarding part of the entire process for me," she explained. "I'm going through some personal things that have been really intense and hard lately, and I just want to say thank you for any support I've received."
