Caitlyn Jenner's fears about dating men, rejection and what her famous children would think of it all played a central role in Sunday night's episode of I Am Cait.

After revealing in a recent episode that she would like to date men, Caitlyn was clearly not feeling ready for the challenge just yet. In a salsa class organized by her pals to get her feeling more comfortable around men casually, the former Olympian opted to partner with her co-star Candis Cayne rather than with a male dance partner.

"I'm pretty much uncomfortable," the 66-year-old reality star can be overheard saying, further admitting she wouldn't want her children to see pictures of her dancing with a man. "That picture's going to go all over the world and I don't want my kids to see that."

The dating tension rises in Chicago, where Caitlyn and friends hit the hotel bar and strike up conversation with a group of guys. She appears to be -- understandably! -- unused to the art of female flirting. And although she speaks with a very nice man, the star ends up escaping back to her room early.

"She doesn't really know how to talk to guys at all, with a flirt, with something more than just who she is," notes Candis. "She doesn’t know how to follow. She wants to lead."

In the hotel room later, Candis tries to get Caitlyn to open up about her fears.

"I hear all the challenges you guys have about dating as a trans woman," Caitlyn says – referencing stories of men who'll have sex with them but won't be seen in public with them. "I would have a hard time with that."

But when Candis presses her on what's holding her back from even going on a date, Caitlyn's fears of what her children will say again comes up.

"The other day I thought about bringing it up to Kylie. You know: 'maybe I should start dating or something,' -- and I was thinking about it and I just can't. I can't even bring the subject up," she says.

"I'm not looking forward to having conversations with my kids about dating a man," she adds. "I think it would be confusing and I don't want to confuse them."
