Spring may have sprung, but in Game of Thrones, winter is here, and things are about to get messy! The new March Madness trailer for Season 6 of the HBO fantasy drama aired over the weekend, and it didn't disappoint.
So much was jam-packed into this 30-second teaser that it's a good thing our vision is better than Arya's these days. First off, Bran Stark is back, but who knows for how long?
In the clip, Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) is standing outside in the snow (Umm…what? He's standing?!) when he's grabbed by a White Walker, who looks a lot like the king. Let's hope this is some sort of dream sequence, otherwise he will continue the Stark tradition of dying tragically.
When it comes to Starks in peril, things aren't looking too good for Sansa (Sophie Turner), who we see running through the forest as her ruthless husband, Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), has an army behind him – perhaps to find his escaped bride?
Arya's still all kinds of blind, and Danenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is at the mercy of the Dothraki, the people of which she used to be queen. But it looks like at least one of Dany's winged pals will be swooping in to save the day and lighting some braids on fire if the soldiers harm a hair on their mother's head.
Speaking of hairdos, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is still sporting her rugged pixie cut, but if history serves, the villainous queen won't stay down for long. Watch the trailer and tell us what you think!
Game of Thrones Season 6 premieres Sunday, April 24 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
