Where they lead, fans will follow! On Monday, Netflix released the first images from the highly anticipated Gilmore Girls revival. The reboot, which will consist of four 90-minute episodes, will see the return of stars Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, and many more (even Melissa McCarthy!).

In these new photos, we see our favorite Stars Hollow residents up to some of their old antics – and a few new ones too.

Most notable is the shot of Lorelai (Graham) and Luke (Scott Patterson) holding hands while walking through town. When the original series ended in Season 7, the formerly engaged couple had kissed and were just getting back on good terms, but the status of their relationship was up in the air.

Now, they’re taking late night strolls and sitting side-by-side in the infamous town hall meeting. If they’re not already married, they’re definitely back together.

As for Rory’s men, the question is still up in the air, though creator Amy Sherman-Palladino did confirm that all of Rory’s main boyfriends will return to the series at some point within the four episodes. Instead, we see Rory teaching in what could be a Chilton classroom.

The twenty-something hasn’t stopped participating in town events as she can be seen in another photo standing next to Lorelai while the pair talk to Babette (Sally Struthers) and Miss Patty (Liz Torres). The two also happen to be sitting in front of a sign for auditions for the Stars Hollow musical.

But it can’t all be fun and games. After the real-life passing of actor Ed Herrmann (who played Richard Gilmore), Emily Gilmore (Bishop) is left to run her residence alone. The widow is featured in two shots – one sitting in a chair in her home and the other has her pouring a drink for Rory, which used to be Richard’s task.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be Gilmore Girls without everyone’s favorite mother-daughter duo having a meaningful chat over a cup of coffee. The pair are featured sitting in Lorelai’s kitchen having a heart-to-heart that gives us all kinds of butterflies.

No release date has been set for the Netflix revival, but it will be coming later this year.
