The Room star revealed the name of his adorable new puppy on Saturday after asking fans for suggestions last week, and the final verdict has Star Wars written all over it!
"#drumrollplease Thank you for all your awesome suggestions! Please say hello to #ReyTremblay!!! #namegame #legoatat #cutestpuppyever #toypoodle," the 9-year-old actor captioned the pic.

Yep! The tiny toy poodle's name is clearly a nod to Daisy Ridley's badass character in The Force Awakens. The two actually met at this year's Oscar ceremony, which Ridley shared on Instagram, writing, "One of the best parts of this weekend was meeting this guy."
Tremblay posted the same photo with the heartfelt caption: "Met #Rey, she is awesome, but @daisyridley is even cooler!"

Meanwhile, Rey (the puppy) and Tremblay are already becoming best friends, as evidenced by a sweet new video the actor shared via Instagram on Monday, where he cannot contain his giggling as his little puppy plays with her own reflection in the mirror.
This is impossibly cute.

Tremblay talked to ET's Katie Krause last week about his new canine pal: "She's very quiet actually. She's not one of those dogs when they play, they growl, you know those types of dogs? She plays and she's really quiet."
In addition to the precious pooch, Tremblay's other BFF is his Room co-star, Brie Larson.
