Kate Middleton might be royalty, but there’s one thing she has in common with almost every new mom in the world: her workout routine!
The Duchess of Cambridge is currently visiting India with her husband, Prince William, and was asked her secret to staying fit at at a garden party in Delhi on Monday.
“We said, 'How do you lose all the weight after having two kids?’” Professor Bulbul Dhar-James told People. “And she said, 'I am running after my kids!’”
William and Kate -- who are parents to 2-year-old Prince George and 11-month-old Princess Charlotte -- are in the midst of their first royal trip in two years, visiting cities in India and Bhutan. On Sunday, William gave a speech in which he revealed that the country had been a dream destination for him and his wife, who married in April 2011.
"When Catherine and I were married, India was the first place on Catherine's list that she told me that she wanted to visit,” he said. "Two children and five years later, we have finally made it."
It’s no surprise, that the couple have been in high spirits throughout the trip, though Dhar-James told People she also asked Kate how the royal couple keeps a smile on their face throughout their packed schedule of appearances and royal visits.
"I asked her, 'Aren't you tired of smiling?'” the professor related. “And she said, 'I'm just reciprocating. Everyone is so warm.'"
