Eva Mendes' maternity style is definitely in season.
The 42-year-old actress was spotted leaving a medical building in Los Angeles, California, on Wednesday wearing a floral maxi dress that she paired with flip-flops and large sunglasses. Mendes was successfully able to hide her baby bump by holding a big (and we mean, big!) purse in front of her stomach before being picked up by her longtime boyfriend, Ryan Gosling.

The outing occurred on the same day that news broke that she and Gosling were expecting their second child. The Hitch star began dating Gosling, 35, after they met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011. In September 2014, Mendes gave birth to the couple's daughter, Esmeralda.

"I've never appreciated my family so much, they've been amazing," Mendes shared on the Wendy Williams show in September. "I don't technically have a nanny, but I do have help. I like to clarify. I'm certainly not anti-nanny, you do what you need to do as a parent, but I'm so grateful that I have help with my family and [Gosling's] family."
