In the wake of his wife's death, Patton Oswalt shared some very wise words from his 7-year-old daughter, Alice.
The 47-year-old actor shared a heartbreaking quote from his little girl via Twitter on Sunday, following the surprising death of his wife, Michelle McNamara.
Oswalt tweeted Alice's words, writing, "When your mom dies, you're the best memory of her. Everything you do is a memory of her." He signed the tweet with his daughter's name and age.

The comedian also shared a sweet message of his own on Friday, recalling his wife's passion for writing. "She wrote lines that stung & hummed. 13 years in her presence was happily humbling. #RIPMichelleMcNamara," he tweeted.
McNamara, a crime writer who founded the website True Crime Diary, died on April 21, Oswalt's publicist previously confirmed to ET. She was 46.
