Blake Lively's booty is causing some controversy.

On Tuesday, the Café Society star, who is pregnant with her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds, took to Instagram to share a split photo of herself rocking a glitzy, body-hugging gown that showed off her curves. Unfortunately, not everyone was a fan of the way she described how she looked in the dress.

"L.A. face with an Oakland booty," the 28-year-old actress captioned the side-by-side photos, which were snapped on the red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival last week.

The caption is a line from rapper Sir Mix-a-Lot's popular '90s track, "Baby Got Back," which refers to a woman whose face looks like she is from Los Angeles (primarily white), while her voluptuous backside makes it seem as if she were from the Bay Area of Oakland, whose population is predominately African-American.

Although it seems Lively was just joking around about how big her booty has gotten (due to the fact that she's carrying a baby), a slew of haters slammed her for the "racially insensitive" caption, writing things like, "Another day, another rich white woman using [Women of Color's] bodies as a punchline and commodity," "Has Blake Lively even been to Oakland?" and "Blake Lively is cute, but her cheeks aren't anywhere near what an ethnic hunny is packing in the rear."

While some found the caption to be "racist," others stood up for Lively, arguing she shouldn't be under fire for simply quoting a song.

"It's just a song, are we not allowed to quote our favorite songs?" one user wrote. Another fan commented, "People overreact way too much, she was being goofy, OMFG!"

This isn't the first time Lively has found herself under fire for racial insensitivity, however. Back in 2012, she and Reynolds were slammed for tying the knot at the Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, something a few Twitter users brought up once again after seeing Lively's latest post.

"This is a reminder that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married on a plantation where slave cabins still stand," one of the tweets read.

Despite all the hatred her caption has received, Lively seems to be unfazed by all the criticism as she has yet to remove it. Perhaps it's because she's busy being so flawless in Cannes, France?
