Are teardrops falling on Justin Bieber's guitar following his awards show slam?

Just hours after a lengthy Instagram rant about the lack of authenticity at awards shows, Bieber posted clips showing him jamming to some throwback Taylor Swift – specifically, her 2006 hit "Teardrops on My Guitar."

With a slight smirk on his face, the "What Do You Mean?" singer quietly enjoyed the track, but couldn't help breaking into song when the chorus rolled around.

In another video, Bieber and his buddy Ryan Good also questioned the subject of the song, a boy named Drew.
"You don’t even know Drew," Good tells Bieber, who asks, "Who’s Drew?"
Good then responds, "If you did, you’d understand."

The videos came after Bieber lashed out at the hollowness of awards shows – a day after performing and winning Top Male Artist at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

"These award shows seem so hollow," he wrote. "I get the premise is to award people for their accomplishments, but is it really? Because when I look in the audience I see a bunch of fake smiles so that when the camera hits them they look happy. Sure there are people truly proud of others so I don't want to knock them I'm just looking at the vast majority."
