Is Gigi Hadid trying to send Zayn Malik a message?
Just one day after rumors swirled that the 21-year-old model split from the former One Directioner, Hadid stepped out to host the Maybelline New York Beauty Bash at the Line Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday.
Hadid rocked a seriously sexy ensemble for the occasion, which included a strappy navy blue dress and silver stilettos.
Throughout the night, Hadid took over the beauty brand's Snapchat, and in one of the videos, she lip synced to her rumored ex's hit song, "Pillowtalk."
An eyewitness tells ET that the blond beauty went up to the DJ booth, where it appeared that Hadid herself requested the song! Once it started playing, she reportedly insisted that the DJ turn it up twice as loud.
Judging from the post, Hadid -- who has yet to officially comment on the breakup -- either confirmed that she's totally OK with the split and there’s no bad blood between her and Malik, or she's implying that the rumors are false.
Fans of the couple who saw the Snapchat were just as confused, taking to Twitter to express their opinions.
"It's her way of saying she will always love Zayn and she still thinks of him," one user wrote. Another tweeted, "They need to not play with my emotions!'
But it gets even juicier!
Simpson took to Instagram to share a video of the two posing together on the red carpet.
She also shared a cute snap of her and Hadid looking effortlessly chic on a bench.
On Thursday, Hadid paid no mind to the failed relationship rumors, stepping out with her close pals, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, for a girls' night out at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, California.
Naturally, the gorgeous gals couldn't help themselves from documenting their adventures via Snapchat. At one point, Hadid posted a photo of the trio's table. Hadid had ordered a glass of lemonade, seemingly paying reference to Beyonce's latest album, Lemonade, which features clear themes of infidelity.
While we patiently wait to get an official confirmation on Hadid and Malik's relationship status, watch the video below to hear more.
