Alexandra Enachescu was one of the lucky fans who got to meet Depp, snapping a photo with the actor outside of Ristorante Il Calcio Herăstrău, an upscale Italian restaurant in in the Herastrau Park district of Bucharest.

"Life's pretty good, and why wouldn't it be? I'm a pirate after all," she captioned her Instagram post, quoting Depp's beloved Captain Jack Sparrow character from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Lalu Madalina also got a photo with Depp, flashing a smile as she wrapped her arm around him.

A fan who met Depp tells ET that the actor was very kind about being asked to take photos. "He is quiet guy," the eyewitness said. "I hope what he’s going through isn't true. He was a really nice guy."

When he wasn't busy snapping pics with locals, Depp and his bandmates, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry, promoted their concert. In a surprise video posted to YouTube on Friday, Depp flashed a smile as he made his first on-screen appearance since news of his split from Heard broke. "We hope to see you there and have some big fun," he exclaimed.

The band also explored the city's attractions. The official Instagram page for The Hollywood Vampires released photos of the rockers at Bran Castle, aka Dracula's Castle, which were shot by photographers John Bionelli and Kyler Clark.

Prior to their arrival, Depp relaxed on the plane by reading a book, as one of his touring musicians, Bruce Witkin, passed the time by playing with water bottles. The moment was captured by Clark, who later posted it to his personal Instagram account.

As all of this was going on, Depp's estranged wife, Heard, filed a defamation lawsuit against the actor's friend, comedian Doug Stanhope, on Friday in Arizona.

As ET previously reported, the 30-year-old actress alleged that Stanhope accused her of blackmailing Depp in a "completely false and defamatory" guest column published on TheWrap.com on May 29.
