Release a new song already! Jessica Simpson took to Instagram on Wednesday to tease, yet again, her upcoming music.

The former recording artist hasn’t released anything since her 2010 Christmas album Happy Christmas, but she’s been hard at work in the studio lately.
On Wednesday she posted a black-and-white photo of herself standing in front of a microphone, looking like a rock ‘n’ roll goddess. The fashion designer sported her signature Daisy Dukes with a top that featured a giant pair of lips. She also rocked a pair of sky-high heels.
The art on the walls and the guitars all around her set the scene for the former pop star’s musical comeback.

This isn’t the first time she’s teased fans with studio shots. In May she posted three photos while recording music. Despite not having released anything yet, she is set to perform on Aug. 26 during the Today show’s summer concert series.
In addition to her music career, Simpson has also been enjoying time with her family. Last week she posted a hilarious shirtless pic of her husband, Eric Johnson, covered in paint.
“Maxwell made Daddy her canvas. ‘Dad you be half tiger half dragon ok?’ I love my husband,” she captioned the pic.
