Chad Johnson really wants people to think he's actually a nice guy, despite literally every single thing viewers saw during this season of The Bachelorette.

After getting the axe from JoJo Fletcher on Monday's all-new episode of The Bachelorette, Johnson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! via Skype where he opened up about his time on the show, and why he acted like a world-class lunatic.

"There was a point where I couldn't even sleep in the next room because [the other contestants] were talking about me so much," Johnson explained. "So I literally was just like, 'How crazy do I have to go until maybe they'll think I'm insane, and then they'll just start to leave me alone?'"

Johnson also said that the show also needed to create dramatic tension by building up his outbursts and aggressive behavior.

"At the end of the day, it is a show so things are amplified," he explained. "We try to be ourselves and we try to be who we are, but at the same time, whoever you are is amplified up about a million times."

In an effort to make himself look like a nice, regular guy on Kimmel, Johnson made sure to have his adorable dog, Pumpkin, laying on the bed behind him, and tried his best to seem sincere and friendly. But it didn't always work.

For example, Johnson told fellow contestant Jordan Rodgers that he would come to his house and beat him up even if he got kicked off the show. When asked if this was still the plan, Johnson joked, "it's not like I would do that...obviously I have people that would do that."

The Bachelorette’s "Super Douche" also recently posted a picture of himself kissing Hope Higginbotham, the ex-girlfriend of fellow Bachelorette contestant Robby Hayes. Hayes allegedly broke up with Higginbotham after dating for four years just to appear on the show -- a claim Hayes has denied.

Explaining the steamy, scandalous pics, Johnson told Kimmel, "We were traveling and we just happened to see each other...and things kind of went from there." Johnson said the two started things off as just friends, but may have become something more.

"I don't want to make any judgements or say where it's going to go," Johnson said. "I don't know."

In the end, if it's difficult to decide whether or not Johnson is a good guy or exactly the kind of person he appeared to be on the show, consider this Instagram video of the 28-year-old dancing on top of a building while making it rain dollar bills on himself before stripping off his shirt for no reason.

Johnson's best and craziest moment on The Bachelorette might have come weeks before getting kicked off, when he threatened to "cut everyone here's legs off and arms off and there's gonna be torsos and I'm going to throw them in the pool and then I'm gonna f*** up this entire damn thing."
