Ben Affleck is owning up to his profanity-ridden proclamations on Any Given Wednesday.

The diehard New England Patriots fan got very fired up when talking about the team's quarterback and his friend, Tom Brady, and the Deflategate controversy. "For those of you keeping score at home, I gave exactly 18 f**ks about my Pats. Upon reflection, 12 probably would have been sufficient," Affleck writes in a message posted on Facebook. "We Boston sports fans have always been known for our subtlety. I love the back and forth."

While the Batman v Superman star admits that he may have gone a little too far when defending his team after they were accused of deflating balls prior to their AFC Championship win in 2015, he doesn't regret speaking with host Bill Simmons on the inaugural episode of the HBO show. In fact, he even promotes Any Given Wednesday. "One of my favorite interviews I've done," Affleck adds. "Hopefully you get to watch the entire episode. ‪#‎GoPats‬"

The 43-year-old actor's friend, Jimmy Kimmel, also enjoyed the episode. "Great job @BillSimmons - bring back Barkley & the hilariously pi**ed-off Brady-blowing Batman @BenAffleck every week! #AnyGivenWednesday," the late-night host tweeted.

Kimmel wasn't exaggerating when he said Affleck was "p**ed off" when speaking about the NFL controversy. "Deflategate is the ultimate bulls**t f**king outrage of sports, ever!" he declared angrily. "It’s so f**king stupid that I can't believe it."
