The 'See You Again' rapper also opens up about marrying again and his dream girl.

Wiz Khalifa says his divorce from Amber Rose completely changed his life -- in a good way.

The exes married in 2013 and had one son together, Sebastian, before splitting a year and a half later. Now, in Playboy's latest issue, the 28-year-old rapper recalls why it was best they went their separate ways.

"I feel like not being in that relationship helped me out a lot," Khalifa explains. "I learned how to be present where I need to be present. I'd been present in the relationship, but at that age and with what was going on, it just wasn't right for me. It helps to walk away sometimes, even though it was super hard."

The "See You Again" artist goes on to reveal that he sees himself getting married again one day, but it won't be anytime soon.

"It was cool. It was fun. I learned a lot," Khalifa says of his marriage to Rose. "Things that would've taken me much longer to learn, I learned in a short period of time. I feel like I'll probably get married again when I'm in my 50s."

"I was sad after it ended, but I wasn't depressed," he goes on to explain. "I've never really been depressed in my life. I was sad because we were going through a lot and my son was involved, and that hurt me because my main goal is to raise my son how I want."

As for his dream girl, Khalifa lists off Pam Grier, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman in Batman Returns, "1990s-era" Madonna, Apollonia Kotero from Prince's Purple Rain and...Pocahontas!

"I like classic chicks, not these new girls who aren't really stunning," he reasons. "All those women are stunning, classic beauties. If they came in here now, they would be awesome and beautiful -- and cool people on top of being sexy as f**k."

Khalifa and Rose both became embroiled in controversy with Kanye West earlier this year when the Life of Pablo rapper went on a Twitter rant and bashed them -- all over an album title. Afterward, Khalifa claimed there was "no animosity" between the two.

"That was a weird situation," he tells Playboy. "Because it was something I would do in real life. All I did was speak my mind. I'm a Max B fan and if me and Kanye were in a room and he said, 'Yo, I’mma name my album Waves,' I'd be like, 'Don’t do that. You're not allowed to do that.'"

"Nobody really does that these days," he opens up. "No one is above being spoken to, and if you've got real friends, they'll tell you how they feel. That's how I handle all my situations in real life. Even if I have a problem with somebody, I'm not gonna advertise it. We can go around the corner and we can really do it. But all in front of people? That's not me.

"N***as talk s**t every day, and n***as say s**t about my ex, n***as say s**t about my kid. It's all good," he concludes. "There's competition in rap, and Kanye obviously sees me as that."

West recently caused more controversy with his "Famous" video, that features the naked likenesses of himself, Kim Kardashian West, Taylor Swift and Rose, in bed together. Hear the rapper's very Kanye West explanation for the visual in the video below.
