Rihanna and Drake Mourn Loss of Longtime Fan Who Battled Cancer

Rihanna and Drake have paid tribute to a longtime fan, Megan Flores, after she sadly lost her battle with cancer.

The chart-toppers took to Instagram to share their condolences after hearing the news on Saturday.

Rihanna shared a photo of her and Drake with Flores, writing, “I had the pleasure of meeting an angel on earth!"

“After my show in Miami, @champagnepapi introduced me to Megan! She's inspired me so much with her strength and her perspective on life! So fearless and kind!”

“It's heavy news that I can't slide in your DMs anymore like I used to!!” the 28-year-old singer continued. “There was always a smile waiting for me there! You brightened any day! Rest up baby girl! We will miss you!!”

Drake, 29, also paid his respects to the young Florida native, thanking her for the moments they shared together, which included an emotional meet-and-greet made possible by the Make-a-Wish Foundation in March.

“Rest in peace my angel,” the "Diamonds" rapper wrote. “I know heaven is celebrating today. Thank you for the moments and emotions we share I am blessed to have known you in this lifetime. @ovomegann”

The superstars have been touring together in Europe, where they appear to have rekindled their romance. During a recent show in Manchester, England, Drake told the crowd he was getting his “heart broken” by RiRi.

"Shout out to the most beautiful, talented woman I've ever seen in my life," he said before hugging his tourmate. "She goes by the name of Rihanna ... I'm getting my heart broken."
