The first lady herself, Michelle Obama, is getting in the passenger’s seat alongside Corden on Wednesday’s Late Late Show, and for her, even that’s something to be excited about.
“I’ve been a car months ago, with my daughter who was learning to drive,” Obama tells the late-night host. “That was the only time in seven-and-a-half years that I’ve been in the passenger seat, listening to music, rocking out like this.”
