Dave kicked off the challenge in New York City, singing Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way" in the middle of an Apple store. He later shared the video to Facebook on Wednesday, writing, "I challenge James Franco, Alison Brie and Chris Mintz-Plasse to #FINDYOURNERVE and embarrass yourself by singing in public too. You have 24 hours. GO!"

And it looks like the challenge has already been accepted!

Dave's older brother, James Franco, performed the dare inside a convenience store with two friends. His song of choice? Justin Bieber's "Sorry."
