Who needs Carpool Karaoke when you can duet on an entire stage?
That's just what happened when Meghan Trainor's Untouchable Tour stopped at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday, where she had a very special guest join her on stage -- The Late Late Show host, James Corden.
The pair sang Trainor's hit, "Like I'm Gonna Lose You," and obviously, Corden totally slayed. (This is the man who hosted this year's Tony Awards and has performed on Broadway, after all.)
The 22-year-old singer looked gorgeous in a black sequined gown while Corden, 37, kept it casual in a blue polo shirt and jeans. What was even more stunning, however, were their harmonizing voices, which sounded lovely and in sync.
The audience even had plenty of opportunity to sing along when both stars held out their microphones to the crowd. Check out a video of the performance below.
The "Me Too" singer shared a touching thank you to Corden after the show, tweeting, ".@JKCorden you are an absolute legend. Thank you SO MUCH for singing with me last night at the @Greek_Theatre. I'll never forget it," along with a party horn emoji.
Corden felt the love as well, replying, "Aw man! I LOVED IT! Thanks for asking me, it was helluva night! X."
These pals are too cute!
Sadly, Trainor hasn't been a guest on Corden's insanely popular Carpool Karaoke segment yet, but we have our fingers crossed that this will be the push needed to have her on soon!
The talk show host's most recent karaoke guest was First Lady Michelle Obama. Watch her fantastic appearance on the show -- plus a surprise from rapper Missy Elliott -- in the video below.
