Swoon! Months after Jordan Rodgers got down on one knee to propose, the finale of The Bachelorette aired. JoJo Fletcher had a tough decision, but seemed pretty set on her choice, and now it’s clear why! Shortly after the finale aired, Rodgers took to Instagram to break his silence about the show’s outcome and his fiancée.

Posting a sweet sunset pic of the couple filming on the beach, Rodgers wrote, “When you look back at your life it’s those little moments when one decision completely changes the course of your life. A few months ago I took a leap of faith that took me on a journey that lead me to the love of my life.”

Can’t you just hear the violins playing? But Rodgers didn’t stop there. The former football player also addressed his bride-to-be, saying, “@joelle_fletcher I love you more than anything! You are the most amazing person on this planet, you are my best friend, and my rock. You are the best thing I wake up to in the morning and the last thing on my mind at night.”

After months apart, Rodgers was happy to start the new chapter of their “love story,” adding, “I loved reliving the greatest day of our life tonight. The day we decided to take on the world together. To be fully committed to each other for the rest of our lives… Here’s to the next 100 years, and a 100 more after that, because no amount of time is ever long enough to spend with the love of your life.”

JoJo chose her man during the not-so-surprising finale of the show. She stopped her other suitor, Robby, from popping the question, saying, “I can’t let you get down on one knee.” Ouch.
