Lauren Potter will soon be off the market!
The 26-year-old actress is promised to be engaged to her boyfriend, Timothy Spear, after receiving a promise ring from him on Sunday, ET can confirm.
Spear, who was also born with Down syndrome, presented Potter with a ring after planning a romantic picnic in Laguna Beach, California, People reports. The two have known each other since childhood, and reconnected romantically when Spear asked Potter out after she ended a previous relationship.

"He picked out the ring, made payments on it, and then planned the picnic and the moment to get down on one knee to ask her to promise to be his one-and-only and marry him when they are ready," Potter's mother, Robin Sinkhorn, says about the couple's special moment. "Then they watched the sunset together."
Potter is best known for her role as cheerleader Becky Jackson in Glee. She also serves as an advocate for those with special needs through her work with various organizations.

Last July, Potter helped carry the 2015 Special Olympics torch with her close friend, ET's Nancy O'Dell. The two are longtime pals after meeting through the Best Buddies International organization.
