Tara Reid feels some type of way about THAT interview with Jenny McCarthy.

After the two had a hard-to-listen-to exchange on McCarthy's Sirius XM radio show last month, the Sharknado star suggested the whole thing may have been concocted to drum up publicity.

"We never even had beef, so I don't know where that came from," the 40-year-old actress told Hollywood Today Live. "I think she actually purposefully did that to get ratings ... It wasn't like there's history there, because I've never met her."

During the McCarthy interview, Reid -- who was there to promote Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens -- seemed noticeably irritated that McCarthy at points turned the interview to Reid's stint on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, as well as her thoughts on plastic surgery.

"It's just so silly," Reid shared. "We're here to talk about Sharknado, and to go into stuff that has nothing to do with it.... This is ridiculous."

And clearly, the interview is still a sore spot for Reid, who couldn't help but to drop a touch of shade.

"Good for you Jenny, at least now people know you have a show," she added.

In case you missed it, Reid was so upset with McCarthy's line of questioning that she walked off of her show, saying, "It was really nice talking to you, and really, good luck with your show."

The two had some words for each other as she left, which ended with McCarthy saying, "Love you, Tara," adding, "Good luck with Sharknado 18."

After the interview, Reid's rep told ET in a statement, "Tara is a positive person who is against women tearing each other down. She was bullied on Jenny's [show] and felt ambushed. She came into the show with a positive spirit and was in a happy mood. It was very unfortunate how Jenny shifted the conversation for her personal gain when the whole focus should be on Sharknado 4."
