Brie Larson has only been Captain Marvel for two weeks, but she's already falling right into character!
The 26-year-old actress even posted an adorable snap to Instagram on Saturday to prove it.
"LARSON INDUSTRIES R&D DEPT.," an in-costume Larson captioned a pic of herself reading up on her character.
The Room star has had no shortage of fun since her big casting announcement at Comic-Con last month, where she was introduced as the star of Marvel Studios' first female-led film. The actress has since posted a series of Marvel-filled pics to her Instagram.
It all started with the amazing declaration, "Call me Captain Marvel," the caption of a snap of herself posing in a Marvel Studios cap.
Then came a completely badass shot of Larson with the fellow ladies of Marvel.
"GIRL POWER – MARVEL EDITION," the Room star captioned a pic of the blockbuster lineup.
And, of course, more epic photos followed.
On the arm of my #wcw - the insanely gifted and totally badass @danaigurira - "I want to see women of African descent shine," Gurira says. "I want to see them [in roles] that are intense, that are full, that are complex—that allow them to exercise their chops. I want women of color who are preparing for auditions to stop asking, 'Where are the monologues? Where are my stories?'"
Larson certainly seems like the perfect Captain Marvel to us, and president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige couldn't agree more!
ET's Ashley Crossan caught up with Feige at Comic-Con, where he dished on why Larson was the perfect fit for the role.
"She is perfect in every way for the part," he said. "She's a spectacular actor and really has the range that is going to be required for our textured and flawed and deep, real Carol Danvers."
