Bindi Irwin Is Proud of Boyfriend Chandler Powell's 'Croc Catching': 'I Feel Extremely Blessed'

Bindi Irwin's boyfriend has already gotten the hang of the family trade!

The wildlife conservationist and daughter of the late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin marveled at her beau Chandler Powell's crocodile catching skills in a sweet Instagram post on Sunday.

"We caught a brand new crocodile in the Wenlock River and we named her Madison," Bindi, 18, wrote. "I was so excited that my amazing boyfriend was given the opportunity of taking the head on the jump team."

"This technique of croc catching was first created by Dad and the most incredible honour is getting assigned to hold the crocodiles head while we attach a tracking device<" Bindi explained. "To see @ChandlerPowell in khaki as such an integral part of the team was really wonderful. I feel extremely blessed to have someone in my life who is so passionate about wildlife and conservation. #ProudGirlfriend."

Such high praise for Chandler!

The 19-year-old shared a sweet message for Bindi to his own Instagram after the excursion, writing, "This past month has been by far one of the most memorable for me. Thank you @bindisueirwin showing me some of the most gorgeous places in Australia and for letting me jump crocs with you. After such an amazing adventure I can't imagine what is to come in the future."

After catching his very first saltwater crocodile last week, Chandler wrote on Instagram, "Blessed to be a part of this awesome work."
