Farrah Abraham Slammed for Posting Bikini Pic of 7-Year-Old Daughter to Promote 'Teen Mom OG'
Farrah Abraham angered some of her Instagram followers over the weekend when she shared a pic of her 7-year-old daughter, Sophia, posing in a leopard-print bikini.
The post was to promote Monday's season premiere of Teen Mom OG on MTV, but some found the photo of Sophia to be inappropriate.

"Your ideas of mothering are WAY off," one commenter criticized. "You should be protecting your daughter and teaching her how to be a lady."
"I know she's a kid and doesn't know any better, but I'm sorry, I'd never allow my child to pose like this or dress the way Farrah dresses this poor kid," read another comment. "Especially with the sickos on the internet now."

"This promo for the show doesn't look right," yet another commenter declared. "It's like she's promoting her daughter for the show as the next Teen Mom. That's the first impression I got."
While some took offense with the image, other Instagram users defended the 25-year-old reality star's post. "Though I have never really approved of some of the things this women has done, THIS IS TOTALLY A NORMAL PHOTO OF A SASSY LITTLE GIRL BEING A GIRL. Haters gonna hate," one commenter declared.

"Cute photo!! Nothing at all wrong with this photo. Sophia is old enough to choose her own clothes and pose how she wants to pose," another Instagram user argued. "I don't approve of everything Farrah has done but hey we all make mistakes. I think she is an amazing mum and has always done right by Sophia. Ignore the haters!"
"That is a super cute picture," read another comment. "Can't believe anyone would think there's something wrong."

Abraham was also excited to share that Sophia was starting second grade on Monday. "SophiaLAbraham first day of second grade tomorrow," she exclaimed on Sunday. "I can't believe it! Big year ahead for my little second grader."
This isn't the first time Abraham has been slammed for posting bikini photos of her daughter. In June, she shared behind-the-scenes pics of Sophia posing in swimsuits and makeup.
Abraham also received backlash when she tried to sign Sophia up for her own Snapchat account, though the social media service requires that users be at least 13 years of age. It now appears to have been deactivated.
While some may not agree with Abraham's parenting, she confirmed to ET last December that she plans to adopt a second child. Sophia's father, Derek Underwood, died in February 2009, just two months before Abraham gave birth to her.
