The images, which show the mini royal decked out in traditional Bhutanese garments while smiling off into the distance, were first released by the cultural organization Yellow Bhutan on their Facebook page on Wednesday.

"Our September calendar is a treat, featuring these adorable images of His Royal Highness The Gyalsey, as photographed by His Majesty The King," the organization wrote alongside a link to download the desktop calendar. "It is a joy to see our little Prince growing up so quickly, and touching to see him already begin to carry out Royal Duties."

The proud father, who became the King of Bhutan in 2006 after his father abdicated the throne to allow his son to rule, tied the knot with his wife, Jetsun Pema, in October 2011. The couple welcomed the Crown Prince in February.

However, it's a tough call when it comes to "cutest royal baby," as Prince William and Duchess Kate have two totally adorable tots -- 3-year-old Prince George and 16-month-old Princess Charlotte. Check out the video below for a look at Prince George's most heartwarming moments.
