Chevy Chase Enters Rehab for 'Tune-Up' After Alcohol-Related Issues

Chevy Chase is focusing on his health. The seasoned comedic actor has checked into the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center his rep tells ET.

The 72-year-old actor’s rep says that Chase is being treated for alcohol-related issues, calling the visit a “tune-up.”

“[Chevy] wants to be the best that he can be."

The Saturday Night Live alum previously received treatment at the Betty Ford clinic in 1986 due to drug dependence.

In a 2010 interview with Esquire, Chase described his past drug use, saying, “I never shot things up or freebased. I was pretty low-level when it came to drug abuse. I checked myself into the Betty Ford Clinic after my nose started to hurt.”

He most recently was working on filming the movie, Dog Years, with Burt Reynolds and Ariel Winter.
