"Entertaining a room full of the world’s biggest stars is no easy feat, but James Corden commanded the room at last year’s Hollywood Film Awards with incredible grace and wit," said Dick Clark Productions CEO Allen Shapiro. "We are thrilled to have him return for a second consecutive year as host of the Hollywood Film Awards."

In addition to the Hollywood Film Awards, Corden also hosted this year's Tony Awards in June, and has had everyone from first lady Michelle Obama to Britney Spears in the passenger seat for his late-night show's acclaimed "Carpool Karaoke" segment.
