Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?
premieres Oct. 11 on Freeform, and ET has the first three minutes of the series premiere! Ben Higgins and fiancée Lauren Bushnell are building their lives in Denver together on the show, but of course, their journey began on The Bachelor. Their new show’s premiere offers never-before-seen footage of the pair’s Bachelor love story.

Just weeks ago, ET sat down exclusively with the couple to learn all about their new life, which has included Bushnell moving into Higgins’ house.

“To be completely honest, it has been a struggle for us at times,” Higgins said. “At first I got very guarded when it came to the house. I was like, ‘We can't do anything to the house, this house is my house.’ I have loosened up a lot. I think it has been fun for me to see Lauren kind of dive in here and make friends, take care of the house; make it her house and not my house. Make it our house!"

Viewers will see Bushnell’s work come to life on the show. “It’s a 100-year-old house, so it has all the character that I love about homes,” she told ET. “But it definitely wasn't my style. It was his bachelor pad! When I walked in the door, I felt like I was at Ben’s house. …. I think living together presents a whole new set of challenges and things to work through.”

Ultimately, though, the couple has learned that their love is real – even more real than reality TV.

“We got really lucky and I think at some point we looked at each other and said, ‘I actually love you. I'm glad that we're doing this together and I'm glad that you're alongside me in this,’” Higgins said. “It now works outside of the show. If the show ends tomorrow, we're happy as can be with me off selling software and Lauren doing the blog.”

Higgins and Bushnell also opened up to ET's Lauren Zima about the steps they're taking to make their relationship succeed -- find out what they are in the video below!
