Kate Middleton doesn’t just recycle her outfits, she also flies commercial! The 34-year-old Duchess of Cambridge recently spent the day in the Netherlands for her first solo royal trip.
But she didn’t take a fancy private plane to return home to her husband, Prince William, and two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Instead, Middleton took a British Airways flight, just like any other traveler.
As she boarded the plane wearing her Catherine Walker sky blue suit – that had some serious flight attendant vibes – Middleton was photographed by her shocked fellow passengers.
Middleton does have some personal ties to British Airways. Her mother, Carole Middleton, was once an employee of the airlines, serving as a flight attendant when she met Kate’s dad, Michael.
The Duchess spent the day in the Netherlands on Tuesday, meeting King Willem-Alexander and visiting the Mauritshuis museum in the Hague, which houses the famous “Girl With the Pearl Earring.” She also met with young artists, who were working in the museum’s learning program.
Prior to her trip to the Netherlands, Kate was accompanied by her husband and children on the Royal Tour of Canada in late September. For more from Kate’s travels, watch the video below!
