TYRA BANKS strutted the red carpet, the ever-glamorous FERGIE rivaled JENNIFER LOPEZ for sheer style, and MAROON 5 rocked the house at today's annual "Fashion Rocks" show, which was bigger and better than ever in its fourth year at Radio City Music Hall.

The celebration of top fashion designers and A-list music performers doesn't air on CBS until 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7th, but we were on the ground for all the head-turning arrivals and front row gossip.

Jennifer Lopez was one of the featured artists of the night, performing "Do It Well" from her new album, Brave. The actress and R&B star is embarking on her first-ever tour with hubby MARC ANTHONY this fall.

"I'm excited; I really can't wait," she tells ET. "We've been rehearsing; it's a lot of fun. It's going to be my first experience on the road, so it'll be a whole different game for me."

Fergie also performed her hit single "Glamourous" in front of the excited crowd. The sometime BLACK EYED PEAS performer signed a deal with KIPLING earlier this year to design handbags, and was excited to talk about her new collection.

"It's my first venture into designing, and I was really excited about it because they let me design the bags -- it wasn't just putting my name on it," she tells ET. "There's three collections: there's 'Nice Scout,' 'Naughty Scout' and 'The Duchess.'

"I was a Girl Scout," she continues, "so I thought it was a good marriage with Kipling, in that they have a lot of compartments and Girl Scouts are always prepared with all their little pockets and compartments."

The star-studded blowout appropriately kicks off New York's Fall Fashion Week with the hottest bands and bods. OBO, an international fashion production company that's in on the gig this year (they produced the Victoria's Secret va-va-voom 2007 show), got the crowd pumped by sending models down catwalks while the likes of 50 CENT and USHER boom live on-stage.

Other "Fashion Rocks" musical performers for the two-hour event included AEROSMITH, ALICIA KEYS, AVRIL LAVIGNE, CIARA, JENNIFER HUDSON, LUDACRIS, MARTINA McBRIDE, SANTANA, and CARRIE UNDERWOOD.

"The synergy between fashion and music is even more pronounced now than it was when we first created Fashion Rocks three years ago," said Conde Nast Media Group President, RICHARD D. BECKMAN. "Each year the line between the two becomes increasingly blurred as more musicians launch fashion lines and more designers align themselves with musicians."

Viewers also got a chance to see how actor JEREMY PIVEN stacked up in the music and fashion departments -- the "Entourage" star hosted the show!
