The actor opens up about his friend Owen Wilson at the 'Into the Wild' premiere.
The big-screen adaptation of JON KRAKAUER's bestselling book, Into the Wild, had its Los Angeles premiere Tuesday night, and one of it's stars, VINCE VAUGHN, gave ET an update on his pal OWEN WILSON.
"Yeah, he's doing terrific," says Vince regarding Owen, who was recently hospitalized after a reported suicide attempt. "Everything's going well with that."
In addition to Vince, 'Into the Wild,' also features EMILE HIRSCH, MARCIA GAY HARDEN, WILLIAM HURT and CATHERINE KEENER. It was directed, produced and written for the screen by SEAN PENN.
In the tragic, fact-based drama, Emile stars as 22-year-old CHRISTOPHER McCANDLESS, who decided after graduating college to abandon his privileged life and search for adventure in the wilderness. During his travels around the United States, he encountered a series of colorful characters who made an impact on his life, before heading alone into the wilds of the great North.
'Into the Wild,' which is rated R, will be released in New York and Los Angeles on September 21.
