Read papers related to the criminal case against O.J. Simpson and his co-defendants.
The State of Nevada has released papers related to the criminal case against O.J. SIMPSON and three other men, WALTER ALEXANDER, CLARENCE STEWART and MICHAEL McCLINTON, related to an alleged robbery of sports memorabilia.
In the papers, the state lists the crimes allegedly committed by the defendants as follows: Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, Conspiracy to Commit Kidnapping, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, First Degree Kidnapping with Use of a Deadly Weapon, Robbery with Use of a Deadly Weapon, Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Coercion with Use of a Deadly Weapon.
In a paragraph specifically related to O.J., the papers read: "Defendant Orenthal James Simpson, did then and there willfully, unlawfully, and feloniously use physical force, or the immediate threat of such force, against BRUCE FROMONG, with intent to compel him to do, or abstain from doing, an act which he had a right to do, or abstain from doing, with use of a deadly weapon, to-wit: one of more handguns, by preventing Bruce Fromong from using his phone and/or call for help and/or 911, by ripping it out of Bruce Fromong's hand and preventing him from using his phone, one or more of his confederates possessing, displaying and/or pointing one or more handguns."
