The actor was arrested and released early Tuesday morning.

KIEFER SUTHERLAND was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of DUI.

The "24" star was pulled over for an illegal U-Turn and subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI at approximately 1:35 a.m.

The 40-year-old actor was taken into the Hollywood station and booked around 4 a.m.

According to his booking sheet, he was released at 5:42 a.m. on $25,000 bail.

ET can confirm he attended the FOX Fall Eco-Casino Party last night in Los Angeles.
