Was NICOLAS CAGE's home broken into? A man has been charged with felony burglary in Newport Beach, CA, after he allegedly entered Nicolas Cage's residence at 1:27 a.m. today.
The District Attorney's Office of Orange County tells ET that Cage and his wife ALICE were home at the time of the incident and they believe his young son, KAL-EL (who turns two tomorrow), was home as well.
ROBERT DENNIS FURO JR., 45, was charged with first degree residential burglary, a felony. He was arraigned this afternoon and is still being held.
Papers filed by the State of California state that Furo "did unlawfully enter an inhabited dwelling house, trailer coach, and inhabited portion of a building, inhabited by Nicolas C., with the intent to commit larceny."
A pre-trial has been set for October 10 and a preliminary hearing on October 15.
